Notable performances from Jane's career

The History Boys

The History Boys

Dorothy Lintott

Canadian Premiere

Directed by Dean Paul Gibson

Arts Club Theatre | Vancouver, Canada

Jane: “The rehearsal period for this play was fascinating as there was just so much to discuss and ideas and energy were flying. Dean Paul Gibson constantly pushed and probed and encouraged us to discover more and to never stop exploring.

Hay Fever

Hay Fever

Judith Bliss

Directed by Nicola Cavendish

Presentation House | Vancouver, Canada

Jane: “Judith is loud, bohemian, larger than life and totally eccentric. To bring to life such a splendidly over-the-top character, guided and inspired by the incredibly talented and brilliant Nicola Cavendish was sheer joy.

Werewolves

Werewolves

Maurya

Directed by Tammy Isaacson

Pi Theatre | Vancouver, Canada

Jane: “Werewolves was almost completely unintelligible the first time I read it and hugely challenging to try and decipher the playwright’s intent. It was wonderfully weird, dark, obscure, complex and bizarre and gave me the opportunity to play a very different role as Maurya.

Lady Windermere's Fan

Lady Windermere's Fan

Mrs. Erlynne

Directed by Stephen Drover

Jericho Arts Centre | Vancouver, Canada

Jane: “I loved playing Mrs. Erlynne as she is flirtatious, confident and scheming. She seems heartless on the surface, yet has more depth and compassion in her than she ever wishes to let on. And 30’s fashions are just gorgeous.

My Fair Lady

My Fair Lady

Mrs. Higgins

Directed by Sarah Rodgers

Gateway Theatre | Richmond, Canada

Jane: “My Fair Lady is such a much-loved classic. With stunning sets and lavish costumes, I was delighted that Mrs. Higgins gets to go to the races and the ball.

Calendar Girls

Calendar Girls

Ruth

Also served as Dialect Coach

Directed by Rachel Ditor

Arts Club Theatre | Vancouver, Canada

Jane: “It is one thing taking your clothes off on stage, but taking them off in the rehearsal room is so much worse. Timing our nude poses so we didn’t flash everything to the audience took such commitment to timing. We got there in the end amid tons of laughs.
